Back to School

It was back to school today for my mom and dad and my first day back to Daycare for me. Inger was as excited to see as I was to see her. I love going to Inger's and get to play with other dogs all day long! I'm so exhausted when I get picked up that I sleep all the way home.

New Office Space

My mom's work place did some "reorganization" and an empty office space became available. I guess I'm just the right size for "downsizing" because I now have my own office! We're quite busy now with new test scores coming in. Whew . . . it's exhausting, I usually eat at my desk.

Dog Park

Today I got to go to an off-leash dog park. My mom was scared to let me off the leash. There must have been 20-30 dogs in there. When she finally did, I went running around with everyone. I especially like big dogs. People commented on how fast I was. Mom didn't let me play too long because she was nervous. I met this great dane, mastiff mix on the way out. Doesn't he look like me . . . only bigger.

June

This is my birthday month! I turned two on June 1st. Since my dad's birthday is this month too, we celebrated with our dear friends Yvonne and Jerry. They live upstairs and I love visiting them. I get to stay up there sometimes when Mom and Dad are at work.

Beautiful Seattle Weekend

We finally got some good weather in May! We woke up this morning to a Sailboat regatta (Seattle Yacht Club). They were right in front of the house. My parents loved looking at the boats, but I love watching the seagulls. Then we went to Volunteer Park. Mom and Dad laid on a blanket and read and I watched the people and dogs walk by. I met a cute little Frenchie girl named Charlie.

Spring arrives in Seattle

We've had beautiful weather here. The daffodils were blooming in February! I love it because the days are full of walks. We've been walking in Volunteer Park lately. Here I am in front of the Asian Art museum there. It was the first camel I've ever seen.

My favorite thing though was meeting another Frenchie. He looked just like me - almost!

Election Results

I sometimes get to go to work with my Mom. They recently had a mock election for a mascot. Can you believe I won! My dad said I didn't have much competition. I was running against a stray cat that always hangs around and Willard, the rat from the basement. It doesn't matter, because everyone there loves me and gives me so much attention when I'm there. I only get to go in on non-student days.

Me on the Ferry Tractor

I got to get up on the ferry tractor the other day. They use the tractor to push off cars that won't start for some reason. I'd really like to actually drive it with Leslie, one of my favorite ferry workers, but I'd probably be in the way.

Christmas 2009

For Christmas, we drove to Phoenix. It was a long car ride, but I slept the whole way. The weather was nice and we got to spend quality time as a family.
